Useless, Most of the blogs use NOFOLLOW tag with the links in comments. It is used to prevent spamming in blog post. NoFollow link doesn't pass link juice so it is useless if your target is link building. Blog commenting may helps you to get only traffic if your link is valuable and meaningful for readers.
