For Ex : your selling toys online then Toys are your main keywords and toys for adult, Toys for child are keyword phrases.

Difference between keyword & keyword phrase?

A keyword is a singular word that you want to rank for such as 'hosting'. A keyword phrase is a group of words that you want to rank for such as 'web hosting'. An exact match is 'web hosting', a phrase match is 'web hosting in michigan' where the original phrase 'web hosting' is intact. A broad match is using both words but they don't have to be in the same order such as 'hosting for the web'.

A broad match can bite you in the ass though. Consider the two phrases 'The dog bit Jonny' and 'Jonny bit the dog'. The same words are used but in a different order which can mean a world of difference especially if you are Jonny!

Keyword: A keyword is any word or phrases that are very useful for searching purpose like business,education to a particular topic on a search engine.
Keyword phrases: It is a combination of those keywords like if we search a something ( bata shoes and nike ).Here bata nad nike are keywords for a particular search.
