difference between http and https

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.

HTTP stands for the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, the communication protocol used to connects the web server to the internet, while HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, which provides an extra layer of the security.

Hi

HTTP Stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol. HTTP is a set of rules for transferring hypertext requests between a web browser and a web server.

HTTPS similar to HTTP, HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over SSL (Secure Socket Layer) or, alternately, Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure. Like HTTP, it’s a set of rules for transferring hypertext requests between browsers and servers, but this time it’s done over a secure, encrypted connection.

Hope it helps you.

what is the difference between http and https : cool:

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to which means that your data is not secures hackers can hack your data easily while HTTPS is secure. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted and can’t be hack easy.

Both of these are protocols using which the information of a particular website is exchanged between Web Server and Web Browser. But what’s difference between these two? Well, extra s is present in https and that makes it secure! A very short and concise difference between http and https is that https is much more secure compared to http.
