difference between domain authority vs Page authority

Well the domain authority is for the whole website overall, it shows how your website ranks in general. Page authority is just for the page that you're looking at.

So domain authority would be mysite.com and page authority would be mysite.com/amazingwebpage

Hi,
Domain authority is a ranking factor in Google which measures a website/domain's authority by the number of credible sites linking back to it. Page Authority on the other hand is a measure of a page's likelihood to rank highly in the SERPs. The higher the Page Authority, the more like the page will rank highly in the SERPs.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

hi
Domain Authority is based on the strength of the whole domain while Page Authority is based on the strength of the individual page.

Page Authority calculates the probability of a single page to rank well, in spite of its content. The higher the Page Authority, the greater the possibility for that individual page to rank well in search results. Domain Authority is the number of domains which link to different pages of the website. It is the measure of the power of a domain name.

Domain Authority measures for the complete website or home page.
Domain Authority measures for a particular page which can be different for every page, it depends on backlink and traffic of any particular page.

Moz toolbar provides statics of Domain authority and page Authority. Primary difference about both of them are as follow:
Domain authority is the measures the predictive ranking power of whole domains or subdomains. Whereas, page Authority predicts how well a particular page will rank on search engines. Authorities of Domain and web pages are measured on a 100-point scale.

Thanks

Page Authority predicts the likelihood of a single page to rank well, regardless of its content. The higher the Page Authority, the greater the potential for that individual page to rank well in search results.
Whereas Domain Authority measures the predictive ranking strength of entire domains or subdomains, Page Authority measures the strength of individual page. The same is true for metrics such as MozRank and MozTrust.
