Difference between a profile picture and a cover photo ?

Hello all newbies, how are you all. I am Prince Charming from United States Of America. I am an Artist. I love to meet new people as well as making new friends. I like to operate Social Networking sites and want to know about them as more as possible. So if you really want to know my thinking about difference between a Profile Picture and a Cover Photo, then i will compare both of them like this :
Profile Picture:- Profile Picture is that thing which we use on our Facebook Account Picture. It is shows all our friends as well as other Facebook users. It is shows in a small size Left Upper side on our wall.
Cover Photo:- Cover Photo is that thing which we use background on our Facebook Account. It is also shows all our friends as well as other Facebook users. But it is shows in a big size on the Upper background.
Profile Picture:- Profile Picture is that thing which we use on our Facebook Account Picture. It is shows all our friends as well as other Facebook users. It is shows in a small size Left Upper side on our wall.
Cover Photo:- Cover Photo is that thing which we use background on our Facebook Account. It is also shows all our friends as well as other Facebook users. But it is shows in a big size on the Upper background.
