Delete History From Public Computer

I recently used a Public computer. Logged in my Facebook. And my Gmail account.
I don't want anyone to see my Email id.
What to do ?
How do i clear my email ?
I tried opening the History But as it was a public computer i wasn't able to delete it.
 
When you sign in you should tick the box that says 'this is a public computer' or it might say 'this is a shared computer'. Make sure you check what is written and select the correct option. If you are not permitted to clear the history then look for a setting in the browser that allows you to work without leaving temp files behind. Usually it is called 'private browser mode'.
