Code for 301 redirect and 404 error page..

Hi,


For a joomla site I'm maintaining should be possessed with 301 redirect and 404 error page.

I'm facing difficulty in updating the site for the same no codes found in web doesn't work fine.

Does anyone here can help me to find these codes for my site?

I will have to update it into htaccess.txt file only.

Hi DarkRepulser,

I have a joomla site. Which does not have a 301 redirect, so a canonical issue exists. I do wanna redirect the site to single domain name. I do know the procedure for 301 redirect for other sites except few joomla sites.

And this is one among them (richwebing.com).

It has htaccess.txt file but it doesn't work fine with the 301 redirect code, which were used for other kind of website(wp, etc).

I need assistance from experts to overcome the problem in 301 redirect..

How to make my joomla site redirected to a single domain name?
