Contents should be capable of convincing a potential visitor in to client (sales Point) and include some possible words that will be used to find the service/product you are offering, and that's all the job of a content. It doesn't necessarily have to be bigger to achieve these tasks, but it should surely be of a good quality and relevant to the contest. Try building killer contents that are rare and highly attractive to customers, and avoid spammy words, both Google and humans love short and sweet stuff, no one opts for a long and boring contents..!
