It depends on your topic. The standard blog should has minimum 600 words.A blog should contain 3 sections:
1. In brief first paragraph
2. Concept
3. Conclusion
If you are not including these three parts in your blog then your blog will be always incomplete.
If you are writing blog for your own site then you can decide the blog words by yourself but if you are writing blog for some other website then they will specify you the blog size.
