In response to the opening thread, the answer to your question is not really a definitive one. As another post already stated, their is a variety of advantages and disadvantages of each. Everybody has different needs and obviously different preferences. Be aware that there is always going to be something lacking whether it's the operating system, intuitiveness or price point.
In order to use IOS, your are going to need to get an Iphone which is almost always double the price of a phone that uses Android. Android apps are more abundant, therefore you have a lot to choose from, and many apps are free. Nevertheless many "critics" have questioned the quality of those apps. On the flipside, Iphone apps are usually of better quality but there is a cost to them, usually higher than the android apps. This is obviously a conclusion that I have made from what I have seen and from what many of my friends and companions have said. So at the end of the day, what are your needs? What is your budget? Those questions need to be considered if you are trying to see which is better IOS or Android.
