Backing up servers has traditionally been done via tapes. They are small, have large capacity, perform at reasonable speeds, and are easy to carry off site. New trends are pointing to cloud backups which can run automatically. Does anyone have experience on backing up local network servers this way? I am interested in backup speeds, cost, and what backup program you are using.

There are lots of cloud hosting and disaster recovery plan checklist service available today. Make sure your cloud provider, make sure that provider is fully committed to understanding your business and the specific objectives you hope to achieve with cloud.
