Blog comment and
content post helps to get .edu back links but it required relevancy, You should have education related site else your work

Those links are mostly acquired through having a connection with the site's webmaster. Other than that, comments work well.

From my personal experience you can get powerful backlinks using article marketing entwined with video marketing, through the use of the 2 best article and video tools currently available. You can even buy backlinks from sites like SEOclerks, listingdock etc.

.edu and .gov are very valuable links if they provide us do follow backlink, but its not so easy to get those do follow backlink form these sites.

Gaining a backlinks from .edu and .gov is not so easy, but it is more efficient and effective for websites traffic.

A backlink for a given web resource is a link from some other website (the referrer) to that web resource (the referent).[1] A web resource may be (for example) a website, web page, or web directory.

A backlink is a reference comparable to a citation. The quantity and sources of backlinks for a web page are among the factors that Google's PageRank algorithm evaluates in order to estimate how important the page is.The PageRank score is, in turn, one of the variables that Google Search uses to determine how high a web page should go in search results. This weighting of backlinks is analogous to citation analysis of books, scholarly papers, and academic journals.
