AMP Ranking versus Desktop Ranking

If you done AMP on your website then this question is for you. Have you seen changes in desktop ranking (down) after amp of your webpages but it increasing ranking on mobile. What you think? Please share your views or any solution for getting ranking on Desktop as well as mobile.

AMP stands for accelerated mobile page while doing this I didn't found any change in search result place of keyword in desktop or mobile both

Ready or not, it's coming to Google search results, and it's arriving in a big way. ... There's no reason to believe that some of the regular ranking factors ... and AMP version of pages, rankings are based on the desktop page.

Desktop rankings matter a lot to your website performance, than AMP
