Adwords CPA Decreased from $30 to $7

Hello All,

I would like to share my thoughts on decreased CPA. I am handling e-commerce account that sells products online in USA & Canada. When I took that campaign in my hand, CPA was approximate $30 (avg) and Cost $12000 per month. Now I am able to get CPA below $8 and Cost $8000 per month. Paid search almost double than previous month.

I used to call Adwords care center to fix higher CPA. Few things suggested by them, few things worked and few were not. So I used to analyze and update it everyday.

My focus was on...

• best selling products,
• most visited landing page
• Adwords search term
• Analyze Keywords & change its type based on analysis
• Update ads based on my research
• Wait for changes to work

I am working as TL at Brainvire Infotech which offer wide range of technology services. Shopping cart built in Magento Enterprise Edition which helps almost all e-commerc solutions to the client.

Hey Buddy, Just shared my thoughts. Its my strategy that I have used during April Month to till date. My Manager told me to reduce CPA, CPC and Increase or Maintain Sales during this period.

I hope everyone in community put their thoughts about campaign optimization in their point of view.
