When the FBI requests data from Microsoft, they are charged between $50 and $200 per user! This is according to leaked documents from the SEA who hacked into MS servers. Although MS declined to comment on the stolen documents they did say:
Microsoft said that US law allows private firms to bill for the cost of servicing law enforcement requests
