A 301 divert is a perpetual divert which goes between 90-99% of connection juice (positioning force) to the diverted page. 301 alludes to the HTTP status code for this sort of divert. In many examples, the 301 divert is the best technique for executing diverts on a site.

301 redirection means your website URL is permanently moved to a new URL. In this case, 90% value (Link juice) of the old URL will be passed to the new URL.

In the simplest of "technical definitions", a 301 redirect is a permanent redirect from one URL to the other.
