$100 If you upgrade from XP to windows 8!!

It seems that so few people are willing to upgrade from XP to 8 that MS are having to bribe people with an $100 incentive! There are certain conditions of course but if you are one of them then click here to take advantage:

I think that one of the problems with that is really old computers. For example, if your computer was made in 2005, is it really ready to handle Windows 8? But I do remember reading about how heavily Microsoft optimized it's NT kernel, so there's probably a chance.

I doubt windows XP machines will run Windows 8 properly. Even if it gets past the installation process it will probably run at annoyingly low speeds. The only way for them to move forwards is to buy a new computer so MS are trying to woo them over with a nice $100 discount.
