I think you are going to actually get more exposure on smaller blogs, because a popular blog will have more comments and thus people won't be as inclined to look at your comment and link as they would on a smaller blog.

I don't mean to be rude, but your cousin is talking rubbish, he obviously believes that only iPhones are considered smart phones. Windows Phone is one of the better ones and I'd pick them above Symbian and Blackberry for sure.

I don't know though, I prefer using the apps because you can have the chat feature on them and some of them even offer a "push" option that alerts you when you have a notification, I've never really found them to take up too much space, certainly half as much as a game or a song, around the same...
