Is LinkedIn worth the time? I have been on there for a long time, but back when I joined it was a CV site, has it changed?

I don't normally have my laptop long enough to need to think about upgrading, as they usually break (I'm rather clumsy), but on the rare ocassions I keep things updated thanks to a number of scripts that tell me when I need to upgrade drivers. hardware and programs.

It is definitely less safe dealing with people on that site. I have not bought anything on Craig's List, but I have bought a few things on GumTree and some of them have tried to rip me off when I've gone to their house to hand over the money.

I would say that learning HTML would be the easiest, I've tried my hand at learning several languages and HTML is the only one that has stuck in my head. :)

Yeah I have to agree with Orz, you are going to want your employees to be able to get to grips with the new system as quickly as possible as since Windows 7 is very similar they will opt for that.

Oh I think comparing Windows 8 to Vista is incredibly Harsh! I personally loved Windows 8, OK there were a few annoying things like the start button being removed, and having to search for EVERYTHING, but apart from that I found it a breeze to use. I have explored it yet, but I have not noticed...

This is going to make me come over as very grouchy, but I NEVER eat or drink around my computer and when I let other people use them (my girlfriend and nephews mainly) I do not allow them to eat or drink either, in fact when my nephews use it I make them wash their hands! I happen to be clumsy...

I have only tried this a couple of times, and that was back in the early 2000s so I'm not too sure if the rules have been changed, but when I did it I used a site called Submit Express and it worked for me, but as I said that was 13 years ago. :)

I gave up on PTC sites a long time ago, I make the bulk of my income from freelance writing and sponsored posts, but I also make money form ads on various sites as well as sponsored social media posting and even investing in micro loans. I have many fingers in many pies. :)

The problem I have with this type of thing is that I very rarely have anything that people will want to download in that type of quantity. :(

Well it depends what information you have given them, I have never gave them anything that I would consider personal, such as my address, bank/credit card details, even the phone number I had to give was a PAYG sim that I bought for $1 just for that purpose.

It is probably the FIFTH placed social media site behind Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & MySpace. I barely give it lip service when promoting my articles.

Oh I am rubbish at this kind of thing so I don't even bother anymore, I just put in a maximum amount and if I get outbid then I will just look for something else, I'm too busy to spend time sitting on Ebay waiting for 30 seconds to go before sniping people.

At the moment I only sell items through Ebay, but by the end of the year I'm hoping to be in a position to start selling my ebooks and I'll be look at as many outlets as possible, plus affiliate sites so that other people can sell my books. :) Does anyone know if there is any money in people...
