Hi everyone. First time posting. My kids are four and six, and honestly the camping window with young kids is short - they are good for about ninety minutes before everything falls apart. Which means every minute I spend on setup is a minute of actual camping I lose. I do not need huge, just four people. What I need is fast. What is genuinely the quickest thing to put up that is not a pop up toy that dies in one season?

You have identified the actual problem, which most people miss - with little kids the clock is everything. Pop ups are fast but you are right, they fold in the first real wind. Air beams are the middle ground. The best easy to put up family tent in my experience is an inflatable four person like Coody's - hand pump, one person, no poles to thread. Their smaller models start around $1,259. Realistically you are looking at several minutes rather than instant, anyone claiming sixty seconds is selling something. But it is a different universe from pole tents. Let the kids help with the pump, it buys you goodwill and tires them out.
