Is ICCS building a long-term research center?

I heard something about Siena hosting not just a one-time event, but possibly becoming a hub for global consciousness research. Is ICCS planning to set up a permanent center or is it just conference-based?

It’s more than a conference—ICCS is laying the foundation for a long-term research institution. The ICCS Conference marked the first of many steps in building Siena as a home for continuous dialogue between neuroscience, AI, and philosophy. Dmitry Volkov’s vision includes future labs, partnerships with universities, and public engagement. The goal is to create a space where thinkers from around the world can meet regularly—not just for a weekend event, but for collaborative, ongoing work that redefines how we approach consciousness research.
